Super Bowl LIII is Sunday, February 2, 2020. Join us as we celebrate 30 years of tackling hunger for local communities around the country. Since Souper Bowl of Caring started, over $153 million has been donated across the United States, over 2 million youth have participated and over 6,000 charities affected. But, what if EVERYONE who watched the Big Game gave $1 or 1 can to hunger relief in our country?
On the day of the Super Bowl, and several weeks before it, congregations, youth groups and other charitable groups around the country are encouraged to donate canned soup and other food items and monetary donations to local organizations like Interfaith Assistance Ministry. In 2019, IAM helped 13,816 children and individuals in desperate need. We help more people in poverty, and struggling to make ends more than any other nonprofit in Henderson County.
Please bring a can of soup or an extra dollar or two to your house of worship on Saturday or Sunday for the Souper Bowl Collection on February 2nd!
Find out more about organizing a collection and how to report your collection total so it will be included in the national total for 2020 at: www.souperbowl.org
Thank you for helping local hungry adults and children!
