Opportunities For Giving
Your gift to IAM is tax deductible
Donating to specific programs
IAM honors your request when you make a monetary donation and ask that your donation be used for a specific program such as Food, Clothing, Heat/utilities, Rent, Medications, School supplies, Unusual Hardships or Medical-Related Unusual Hardships. When making a donation restricted to a specific program, just include the information on the memo-line of your check.
Unrestricted donations will be used where they are most needed.
Carleton Dence Stepping Stone Fund
This fund makes a difference in the lives of Henderson County residents working to attain a life-changing goal but facing difficulties because of financial limitations. Potential grantees are nominated by local human service agencies and other organizations. The program helps with college tuition, school books, supplies, computers, tutoring, transportation and other needs relating to attaining a goal that will be life-changing. When donating to this fund, write "Stepping Stone Fund" in the memo-line of your check.
Planned Giving
A valued way of supporting IAM for the long-term future, without impacting a donor's immediate cash flow, is to name the organization as a beneficiary on a life insurance policy that is no longer needed or include IAM in your will. Other methods of Planned Giving include Charitable Gift Annuities such as Charitable Remainder Trusts and Charitable Lead Trusts. Consult your Attorney, Estate Planner or the Community Foundation of Henderson County regarding these and other related options.
IAM Endowment
Contributions to the IAM Endowment Fund can be made through the Community Foundation of Henderson County.
